Arthur Agee Early Life and Championship
Early Life
After his sister, Agee is the first son of his parents, Arthur “Bo” Agee Sr. and Sheila Agee. During his early life years, Agee lived in the Northern Area of Chicago, where his mate of “Hoop Dreams”, William Gates used to live. Later on, he moved to West Garfield Park neighborhood, where he resided until his graduation. When he was done with graduation form Grammer School, Earl Smith, a part-time, unauthenticated talent scout, discovered the hidden talent in him. Upon convincing by Earl, his parent allowed him to join a private, predominantly residential school, St. Joseph’s High School.

First State Championship
When Agee’s parents were unable to pay the high school fees at St. Joseph High School, he was admitted to John Marshall High school. It was an inner-city school, and take less time to reach the school. He helped his commandoes winning the Public League Championship and ended up with the third state championship during his senior year. In 1991, he won the match and started his bright career. One of the team members of Agee’s high school was a future NBA player, Howard Nathan.

After Years
Agee is not only a basketball player but he is an actor as well. He appeared in the movie “Passing Glory” after contracting with CBA Connecticut Pride in 1996. He attended Mineral Area college after attending Marshall College and went to Arkansas State on scholarship for two years. In 2004, he launched a clothing brand “Hoop Dreams” with a slogan “Control Your Destiny”.
