Alecia Beth Moore, who is professionally known as “Pink” stylized as “P!nk”, was born in Pennsylvania in 1979. Her mother Judy was a nurse and father Jim Moore was an insurance salesman. When Alecia was a toddler her parents faced the marital problem and then divorced, when the little Pink was only of ten years. Pink loves music from her birth so, she developed her voice soon in high school. She joined her first band “Middlegroud” in high school.
Pink was disbanded from “Middleground” upon losing “Battle of the Bands” Competition. She starts writing lyrics of deep feelings in her teenage. At the age 14, Alecia began performing in clubs of Philadelphia with the stage name “Pink”. She adopted her name from the character Mr. Pink in “Reservoir Dogs“.
